About Rosie
Rosie was born in Sidcup, Kent, but has grown up in Ashford, Kent. When she was younger, her parents knew that she was going to be a performer as all her young days were spent dancing and singing! As Rosie grew to know what she wanted to do, Opera and musicals were something that really interested her and for 5-6 years and Rosie was performing in Stage productions and shows.
Having done Ballet since the age of 3, Rosie has an understanding for different dance styles and sometimes has the urge to go out and have a boogie on the dance floor for the evening when she isn't singing or performing.
Being brought up near the Country Side has kept Rosie in contact with an understanding of Country Music and an understanding with Country Music lovers. Knowing that there was world out there for Country Artists, Rosie took it upon herself, with the help from her family, to find out more about Country Music and try and persue a career on the Country Music Scene.
Although Country Music is huge passion of Rosie's and something that will never be taken away from her, Rosie always finds time to have fun as a teenager and find new friends in this big ol' world.
'I love to go to any Jamming sessions around as you learn with the musicians on the circuit and with musicains that just have a love for Country/Blues/Jazz. Music wouldn't be alive if nobody wanted to have a laugh and learn from eachother.' - Rosie.
Rosie has a huge love for animals and takes a lot of time out of her day to make sure the family dog, Bailey, is happy and always has time for the family walkies in the woods. 'Quality Time' is what Rosie calls it!
Apart from the home life, Rosie will always make sure she is somewhere when she says she will be. Being only 18, Mum and Dad take their time to make sure she is at venues and other nights out, which is, as you know, is a great help.
Rosie is also a songwriter with a wide range of different songs and lyrics which shows her versatility in her voice and genres. Some of these songs will be recorded and on the site soon.
